Crown Chimney is the best!!!! From the very beginning everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, polite and easy to talk to. Deb in the office was great. Always returned my calls quickly and answered all my questions. Dan Moran who did the repair was very knowledgeable. He gave me my options, explained them to me and which was better for my needs. The whole crew did an excellent job. My neighbors have stopped to tell me how good it looks.. They cleaned up and left nothing behind. Showed up when they were suppose to and finished the job when they said they would. I highly recommend them and would use them again. This is the second job they have done for me the first was a liner.

When we bought our home in Dec. we knew that the chimney needed work. We called Crown Chimney and Saxon came and thoroughly discussed the project with us. After our conversation with him, we felt confident that we had called the right company! The chimney needed a flu for the gas boiler plus the bricks from the roof up needed to be totally replaced and a cap installed. They installed the flu in Dec. with plans to finish the project this summer. Two weeks ago, Jon, Dan, Hazen, Matty, and Dalton came and tore down the old chimney, rebuilt it and installed the cap in one day! They completely cleaned up the roof and yard before they left. We are very happy with the results! the chimney looks great and we are “happy campers”! I have enjoyed working with Deb. She has always been friendly and helpful and has a great personality!

Crown Chimney have been nothing short of amazing to work with. After receiving quotes from another company, we wanted a second opinion. Crown was prompt, friendly, and honest with us about the work needed and the quote came in much more reasonable than the previous one. Deb at the office was friendly and on top of everything we needed, keeping in contact with me regarding next steps, organizing Eversource to cover the power lines, and our service dates. They had availability earlier than originally planned, and she reached out to ask if that would work, which was great. Dan and his crew showed up on time, were polite and conscientious of my property and my neighbor’s property, and kept me informed of their work and progress each day. Everything was completed within the timeframe quoted, and the job they did was fantastic. They cleaned up after themselves so well that you can’t even tell they were there. Recently had my furnace replaced and needed to get chimney looked at. Submitted a few estimate requests online and Crown responded quickly. Was able to look at my chimney within days. Crown found a few issues with my flues which the photos clearly confirmed. Provided a detailed quote with no pressure. Friendly Crew showed up on time and answered any questions I had. They put down tarps and kept everything clean. Very professional organization.

Thorough evaluation of the repairs needed and answered all my questions upfront. Deb in the office is a pleasure to deal with. Actually moved my appointment up due to weather conditions. All workers on site were friendly. Clean up was professional.

The men were polite, professional and attention to detail were very appreciated. I had put a hose oot for the water they needed and upon leaving, the hose was neatly rolled back up on the hose reel plus the closed and locked our bulkhead door. Two things I didn’t expect to be done. I have already recommended you to a friend of mine who was looking for work done.

I’ve been using Crown for my chimney and boiler needs for 10+ years. They came recommended from a colleague, if I remember correctly. The customer service has always been great. They’re also fair. It’s nice to work with the same people year after year, whether it be those in the office or in the field, which I think says a lot about a company in this day and age.

We had a very positive experience with Crown. Everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful especially Deb! She was on top of everything and if she didn’t know she would get the answer. Correspondence with her was pleasant, friendly, and fun! All the crew that came to work at our home were respective and efficient. We would definitely recommend Crown if you are looking for chimney work and/or a pellet stove but if it’s just cleaning they do that too!

The men were always on time, even though I wasn’t home. My husband said they were very friendly and did the job.

I had originally hired a different company to clean my chimney, and get a quote to fix the chimney. I then got a second opinion from Crown Chimney. Best thing I could’ve done! The cost was almost $1500 less and everyone was extremely professional from Deb in the office to the men that did the estimate right through to the completion of the job. Highly recommend this company!

Saxton and his team from Crown Chimney were excellent! From the initial inspection thru completion, Saxton was informative, friendly, clear, and ensured I understood what, why and all my options. The work was excellent and they left my home in better condition than they found it.

Saxtonprovided a detailed description of the work required to reline my chimney and remove an old gas insert. He was very knowledgeable and gave a number of possible options for the fireplace.

The work crew Louie and Ivan did an excellent job of relining the chimney and sealing off the fireplace area. I would highly recommend them to anyone . In addition, they cleaned up the work areas and left things spotless

My husband and I have used Crown Chimney services for many years and have always been more than satisfied with their work. On time. Personable. Professional. They always leave their workspace clean as a pin. If I had to say one negative thing it would be cost which has gone up quite a bit over the past year. However the cost of about everything is very high today so I can’t fault them for having to raise theirs prices to keep pace with their own expenses.

We have a gas fireplace that had to be sprayed 3 times for bees before anyone from Crown could come clean our fireplace. They removed 3 huge hives by removing the siding on our house pulling apart the outside portion of our fireplace and replaced everything easily, efficiently and perfectly. I was worried we would notice where the siding was removed but it looks great! The men who came to do the work were wonderful and friendly.

Deb from the office was beyond pleasant and helpful. She was very personable and answered all questions I had.

Tom and Ivan were spectacular and highly efficient during my chimney cleaning appointment! Huge shout out to both of them, thank you so much! I was referred to Crown from a neighbor and have nothing but good things to say about this company. Friendly, knowledgeable, and the office staff was aces. They were out a few months ago and the torrential rain today has me on edge living in a 200 plus year old house. Their work is holding up but I found a new leak at my heater flue so I reckon I’ll be ringing them up again.

I originally had an appointment scheduled, for January 8th of 2024. The appointment was to have my chimney inspected and possibly cleaned. I was not able to be there on that day. I actually went to the office on January 2nd and spoke with Deb. I told her that I needed to reschedule because, I was not able to be at my home on January 8th. Because of the possibility of jeopardizing the warranty on my recently installed chimney flue pipe, of which crown chimney installed in 2019. Deb in the office worked very hard and was able to get two techs to perform the inspection on the same day. Thank you very much for the quick response.

My wife and I were smelling fumes in the house and having trouble with our furnace. After three repair visits from our service provider we discovered that our chimney was the culprit. I contacted a friend who in turn put us in touch with Crown Chimney. The office staff was very friendly and helped get a technician over that same afternoon. Saxton, their technician, was friendly and well versed in our problem and proceeded to inspect our chimney. He answered all my questions about what it might be and then proceeded to get his ladders ready for the climb up my roof. BTW, it was a cold and rather windy January day but he never hesitated to get on those ladders and climb our roof. He took many pictures both inside and out of our chimney and when he finished, quietly put his ladders back on the truck and talked to me about our emergency situation. Our chimney was almost 100% plugged and needed to be done now and he needed to shut our furnace and hot water off. The next morning their crew was here, early morning, to do the job. The two of them worked quietly both in the basement and on the roof to install a new liner, cap and new vent pipe to the furnace and hot water tank. They were friendly, very professional and they completely cleaned up after they were done. I found everyone I dealt with at Crown Chimney to be friendly, helpful and very informative. They really know the business and I would not hesitate to hire them again if needed.

The team at Crown Chimney, both in the office and in the field, are extremely professional, efficient and courteous. When the installation team showed up at my mother’s house, I was met by Dan…the crew chief. He was very professional and courteous, as was the entire team. He explained how the process would go, and set out with his crew to get to business. Even though they ran into an obstacle or two, they worked hard (and late) to complete the job according to schedule. They cleaned up any mess they made and left my mom’s house better than when they arrived. A great group to deal with.

From our first meeting with Saxton, great communication from Deb in the office and the courteous, talented build crew our gas fireplace construction project went seamlessly. Their professionalism draws to them a strong group of professionals including stone suppliers, gas pipefitters and electricians who provide timely service and integrated effortlessly with the build crew. We could not have been happier with the service or the final product.

From the start when Saxton arrived to perform inspections on a boiler chimney and a fireplace chimney, it was evident the training and knowledge demonstrated made sense and easy to understand. The estimates to perform the repairs/updates were easy to read and thorough, even though our chimneys built in 1987 do not meet current 2016 standards. Once we got over that hurdle the rest made sense.

We called for the inspection due to an issue with the existing boiler/chimney spitting out soot. Turns out the liner in the chimney was breaking apart.

When the team arrived to remove the old liner and install a new, stainless steel one, Tom (team leader), was patient with me and explained in detail the work they were going to perform. They worked well together, and did not mind by occasional observance of the process. There was no wasted time, but did not sense either of the three men were pressured to “hurry” and get it done. Was so pleased to see how they managed to keep dust to a minimum and then cleaned up when done.

From the on-set, Deb in the office made us comfortable treating us as though we were the only important client when in contact. The process of warranty, invoice and payment was simple and easy to manage. When I called with a question, I could hear her smile while we talked. Thanks Deb.

Louie and his crew were excellent. They replaced my chimney liner in a minimal amount of time which was important to me since I work from home. Their work was high quality and they did an excellent job of cleaning up. All in all, no complaints whatsoever – just praise.

I’ve been using Crown Chimney since I bought my house in 2013, first for installation of a wood stove insert and new flues, and now for annual inspections. I’ve always been impressed with the excellent customer service provided by Jesse and his team. In a time when there is a lot of turnover in the workforce, it is nice to see a familiar face each year in longtime technician, Tom.

After having a wood chimney fire, I decided to try gas instead. I did some research with other company’s but they did not compare to Crown Chimney. After picking out the fireplace and mantel, with Saxton’s approval. The date was set. Had a wonderful time with Deb picking out the granite sides (seriously). Crown coordinated with their gas company to come out on day 2 of this project. I was predicting a mess so I covered everything. The day has now arrived. Dan, John and Josh arrived and set up the scaffolding on my deck and then started the work inside. They explained everything to me and went above and beyond to be neat with out any dust or debris in my home. The chimney work involved new pipes and a chimney cover, which again was done to perfection. These guys worked hard and did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

To say that I’m happy with the work that was done is an understatement. Saxton and the crew that came out not only fixed the chimney issue we were having, but pointed out that a previous company installed the wrong hot water heater which caused our carbon monoxide alarm to go off. Saxton brought it to my attention and was honest and as professional as can be. The level of professionalism from Saxton and the guys was amazing. Once it became clear that we needed a chimney flue replacement, we contacted Crown based on their New Hampshire location and the many fine reviews. They came out quickly, conducted a thorough inspection and provided a detailed estimate. The actual work was an all-day process but the guys were professional and their clean-up was top-notch. Several months later they returned when weather permitted to finished up some masonry work. So we had them out a total of 3 times. Throughout the process, the office was very good about keeping us posted as to any schedule changes and the guys called us each time when they were 10 or 15 minutes out. All in all we were quite impressed with their work and their professionalism. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

I have been working on updating my heating for my house this spring/summer and needed a liner for my chimney. Crown Chimney was so friendly and helpful when I called and where very accommodating with my schedule. We had to wait a long time for our new Pellet stove Mostly due to the Manufacture When it did come in they were Right on it They cleaned out our old Wood-burner and Chimney ?. Prompt service to do a sealant job on chimney flashing looks very professional.

My old, 90s-era propane fireplace needed replacing. Saxton came to do the initial estimate, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. When they came back to replace the unit, Santon and his crew were nothing short of amazing. This job was not an easy one, as the entire venting system also needed overhauling, and to top it off, there was a large nest of wasps on top of the old unit (explains why I was getting wasps inside the house every spring). The chimney cap also needed to be replaced, the old mantel was too small and had to be replaced to accommodate the surround-stone now required by code, on and on. The guys were extremely polite, efficient, and a pleasure to have in my home. I now have a magnificent new unit and mantel in the room and the difference is astounding. Before hiring them, I was told by several people that Crown was the best in the state; they were right, hands down. My great thanks to everyone on the team that day. I could not be happier with the gorgeous, new installation.

Tom and his team arrived on-time to evaluate both the boiler chimney and the (non-working) fireplace chimney of our new home. We knew the fireplace was not likely to be usable, and Tom was able to show me the several reasons why that was the case. We received their quote quickly regarding the necessary boiler liner.

The company kept me abreast of cancellations in their schedule and were able to get workers out to us much sooner than originally hoped.

Louis and Ivan arrived on-time and installed a liner in our boiler chimney. They were kind, professional, efficient with their time (and mine), easily trouble-shot a few challenges with an angle in our chimney, and cleaned up well after all the work was done. We are really pleased — thank you!
